7 Wonders of Jagannath  Temple

(keep your scientific brain  aside and then read it. Still, if you don’t believe this, then check yourself in Jagannath,  Puri  –  Orissa) :

  1. Flag always flaps in opposite direction of wind flow.
  2. From any place in Puri, you will find Sudarshan  Chakra (Chakra at the top of Temple) is facing  you only.
  3. Normally in daytime  breeze comes from sea to land  and  in the  evening , it is opposite but in Puri, it’s totally opposite.
  4. No bird or planes fly above the Temple.
  5. The shadow of the main dome is not visible at  any time in any direction.
  6. The quantity of cooked food inside the Temple  remains same for an entire year. But the same prasadam can feed few thousand people or 20  lac people; still, it won’t get wasted or never be inadequate.
  7. In Jagannath Temple kitchen, 7 pots are kept  on each other and cooked on the wood fire. In this  process top pot gets cooked first and the  bottom one last.
  8. After entering from Singhadwara’s first step inside the Temple, one can’t hear any sound of  the ocean but when you cross the same step outside, you can hear it. Mostly we notice this in the  evenings clearly.
  9. Prasadam is cooked by Laxmidevi herself every  day; only pure devotees of Lord can see Her inside the Temple kitchen.

Supreme is One-GOD are many

Commonly we are talking about GOD, Moksha and then other topics.

I do not know why I chose this topic to write upon. Not supposed to hurt any one’s feeling. Excuse/pardon me if anything is wrong.

Have we followed a new born child behavior, HE cries as he detached from SUPREME but as soon he comes in touch with the mother’s hand he stops crying and feels the comfort as same as with the SUPREME. (Mother is only one whereas father may be many)

We always talk, GOD is one but I feel that it is too many for each divided in religion and individual. We change our GOD as and when we feel like, we listen that one is profited by praying a particular GOD, we shift our prayer. GOD has been divided into many departments like Rain GOD will be Indra, Air GOD will be VAYU and so on.

But in all these, we forget the SUPREME which is beyond them, having no shape and even the enlightened has not seen HIM.

Why there is a SUPREME?

Supreme is because HE gave everyone the same facility to survive on without casting rich or poor.

On birth, HE gave the mother to all, the same blood color to all, mother feed to all, oxygen for all and four shoulders to end his journey to the earth.

The child always cries with hands and arms open lying on the bed seeing towards SUPREME and stops as he feels mother nearby. We constrict our posture as we grow bigger. We are given a name, a caste and to follow the rituals of the family. It is detachment with SUPREME.

We were given all worldly training through education but never been taught about SUPREME from the beginning and suddenly we come in contact with the word ‘Moksha’ and starts to follow techniques to attain it. This is a word for the richer caste that has money, power, and an unsatisfied life to lead.

Poor has a satisfaction and thanks HIM for the two-time feed he gets in the end of the day, he attained moksha while feeding his family in the life time, doing HIS work allotted to him and dies silently.

No two finger prints are same in the universe, how can a single technique will get us attain moksha.

To me Moksha is when you are one with HIM; it is not that you are free from the circle of life and death. Life always changes its body and never rests, which rests is the body of you and me. LIFE is the real TRUTH and DEATH a Worldly TRUTH.

We are still short on finding the SUPREME, but will definitely be one with HIM one day. We have still to find the real meanings of the scriptures.

Regards to all.

There is only two kind of thoughts – those against GOD & those that adhere to GOD’s way of thinking. The first kind of thought is ‘untruth’ or Maya (delusion) or ignorance. The second are Truth or ‘spiritual wisdom’. The whole day our mind wanders in the former kind of thoughts as we believe that another person has done the thing right or wrong. This, however, is against God’s thinking, which is that all bodies are His bodies and whatever is happening is being done according to His will.

God & Maya are two different kinds of knowledge. Maya is the knowledge that we all have and is practiced everywhere. God is the knowledge that is written in older scriptures.

Maya creates worries in the mind, diseases in the body and so on. God removes worries from the mind and diseases from the body, stops ageing process and grants everlasting life.

No one has been able to save himself from death because no one has become Godly in his thoughts. Everyone has remained materialistic and therefore, met with the same destiny.

We all have to transform our thoughts from Maya to God. This transformation takes time.

And as with most things, the first step is difficult. However, unless we take the all-important first step we can never reach the goal.

One drop of water is water & the ocean is also water, likewise one thought of God is also God.

My personal experience shows that if one develops the thought of God (Truth) in his heart, even 10-15 times a day, will be able to see Holy Light in 4-6 weeks. The duration can vary person to person but eventually, everyone is able to obtain relief from tension & worry.

My faith becomes stronger with every passing day. I have no doubt that this is the only Wisdom that can remove jealousy, hatred, greed, desire, anger etc. from man’s heart. Intellectual power is nothing compared to spiritual power.

Truth alone is God and Truth alone can save man and grant everlasting life.

Worry creates diseases, causes ageing and ultimately death. There is no medicine for driving worries away. Truth alone can kill worry.

The scriptures are full of references to the immortality of man in the physical body. However, man has not understood this message of the scriptures and has therefore never acted on it.

Thoughts, as well as actions, must be attributed to God. We must realise that we do not exist, there is no ‘I’.

Everything is God’s and ultimately the Truth will triumph.

The Secret of Krishna’s Birth

Recently, I have visited my friend Mahesh’s house. His father was watching a television program – Bhagavatham puranic disclosures. As a courtesy, he had put it off and welcomed me inside.

I asked him: “Uncle, what was that you were watching?”

“I was watching the talk on Sri Krishna’s birth by (name of a Swami)”he said.
With great devotion, Mahesh’s parents (both are retired) narrated the story that they heard in the television program by the swami.

When the great sages along with Brahma prayed to Vishnu to destroy evils in the world, the latter assured them that he would take avatar (as Krishna) in the earth to annihilate tyrannical forces like Kamsa, the ruler of Mathura. On the day his sister Devaki was married off to Vasudeva, Kamsa heard an akashvani (voice from the sky) prophesying that Devaki’s 8th son would kill him. The frightened Kamsa imprisoned the couple. Devaki gave birth to six children, each time Kamsa picked up the child, held him by the legs and smashed him on a rock.

Vasudeva managed to smuggle out the seventh son (Balarama) to Gokula and gave it to Rohini, his second wife. The eighth child was Krishna.

Vasudeva could miraculously take Krishna out of the prison and replaced Yashodha’s (wife of his brother Nanda) girl child and came back. Kamsa picked up the girl child by her legs and was about to crash her on the floor, this child slipped out of his hands, flew out the window, laughed at him and said, “Your slayer is elsewhere.”….

I heard the soft laugh of Mahesh and his wife. Mahesh is a physics professor. Uncle got angry.

“Today’s youngsters are not interested in these divine stories….My son won’t let his kids learn such Purana stories.” Uncle and aunt told me as a complaint.

“Dad, you were a Marxist during your young period and taught us to think rationally and scientifically. Now that you are old and weak, you suddenly turned religious. Your bad. I can’t let my children learn such irrational nonsense stories which have nothing to do with today’s life. Krishna is just a myth….I can’t let my children listen to those fancy dressed jokers in the name of swamis and gurus.” Mahesh said.

“You see Uday…my son has become a hardcore Marxist. I made a mistake.”

“But Mahesh is right, uncle. The story that you have just told me is for kids. Not for grown-ups…”I said. Mahesh grinned at his father.

“Mahesh, there are rational, scientific and logical explanations for our Puranas. I agree 90% of today’s high profile Swamiji’s and gurus are frauds. But our great sages were not like those cons men. There is a strong message, philosophy, and science behind each story…”

“Oh, really? Isn’t Krishna’s birth a bed-time story? Krishna is a fiction hero…” Mahesh said.

“Hmmm…Uncle, you said Krishna is Vishnu’s avatar. Tell me about Vishnu?”
“Vishnu’s abode is Vaikunta in Ksheera Sagara (Milky Ocean). He is lying in five-headed serpent named Ananta-Sesha. He is blue in colour.” Mahesh’s father said.

“Okay,” I turned to his son: “now, Mahesh, please tell me the name of our galaxy…”

“It’s Milky Way. Oh, it is ksheera sagara…But just a coincidence…”he said.
“Okay, what’s it structure or shape?”

“The structure of clusters of galaxies… There is a coiled and spiral shape.”
“The latest astronomical discovery says Galaxy contains about 100,000 suns’ worth of material and looks more like a cosmic snake. The slender bone of the Milky Way is more than 300 light-years long but only 1 or 2 light-years wide. (Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics)…” I told him.

“Yeah, but…”

“The only commonly known living creature that represents this coiled structure is a snake…and it has a name too. What’s the meaning of Ananta?”

“Infinity” Uncle said.

“And Sesha means “that which remains”. Even if this world is destroyed, Shesha remains as he is. It is just a representation of the existence of galaxy. Just coincidence?”

“But this is a five-headed snake, Uday…” Mahesh tried to rectify.

“Correct. Uncle, what’s the entire universe is made up of?”

“The Five basic elements called Pancha Boothas are kept in a certain balance in the Universe and the body. Yes, five elements joining to a body….You are right…The five-elements join as a body in a coiled shape like a cosmic snake.”

“Now, what was the colour of Vishnu?”

“Sky like blue…Yes, I know blue colour represents the depth…Oh god… all are scientific…He is described as being blue in colour, meaning that he is all-pervasive and omnipresent. The colour represents infinity too. I understand now” Uncle said with excitement.

“But, for people like Mahesh (or scientists) our ancestors have gone a step further. He can argue the colour of the sky is not blue…”

“Yes,” Mahesh said, “even high school students would know that colour of the sky is not blue. It appears blue…”

“The Markandeya Purana (78.8) clearly says ‘Blue Sky is nothing but scattered sunlight’. And after 5000 years, our physical scientists also discovered the principle called Rayleigh scattering.”

“Okay, but what about Brahma…What’s his relation with Vishnu?” Mahesh asked.

“Hmm. Bhagavatham says, at the beginning of the universe, Brahma is born from a lotus flower which grew from the navel of Vishnu. Being born into solitude and universal darkness with no one to teach or guide him he didn’t know what to do. He looked around in four directions (four faces). The feeling of “I” (ego) came to him. Thus he is the first manifestation of one’s existence (ahankara).”

“Oh, then what happened?” uncle asked.

“He then entered the stem of the lotus, but couldn’t trace out the source. While searching Brahma realized his mortality and felt the fear of death in his mind (subtle ego). Then he began “tapa” (penance or meditation). He became aware. He understood his connection with the supreme universe of Time, Space and Life known as Vishnu. The moment he realized that he is not separate and he is the integral part of the Brahma he became happy and focused in his dharma. This is enlightenment. The Lotus stem connection with navel or belly button is symbolic of umbilical cord – the connection to the cosmos,” I said.

“But what about Krishna Avataram? Isn’t it a story?” Mahesh asked.

“Ava=descending or coming down tharam = star or fixed luminous point with a remote incandescent body like the sun. Avatharam simply means a person who is enlightened. Krishna was an enlightened person. So we call him avatar…”

“Kamsa is the personification of fearfulness; hence Kamsa is the avatar of fear. Fear is subtle ego. He kills the six children of Devaki. Do you know their names?” I asked

“No, they died immediately, right?” uncle asked.

“Yes, but Bhagavatha (10-85.51) says Krishna brought them back to life just to present before Devaki. Their names are Smara, Udgitha, Parisvanga, Patanga, Ksudrabhrta, and Ghrni, respectively. What’s the meaning of Smara? Memory. The first thing in meditation (tapa or penance) is erasing the memory. Memory is nothing but the conditioned ego. You have to kill it as the first step towards enlightenment. What’s the meaning of Udgita? Words or speech. It represents your sense of hearing or talking. Parisvanga means touch – it is another sense. Try to find out other meanings yourself. The killing of six boys communicates to you a very basic thing in meditation – destroys the six sense objects from the womb of your state of being similarly Kamsa kills. Then you can move towards total awareness. The seventh one is Balarama – an avatar of Ananta-Sesha, you know the meaning.”

“So the eighth person is Krishna…”

“Yes, it is the final enlightenment. He kills Kamsa – our fearful state of being – and light yourself. Krishna is pure awareness. The presence of Krishna annihilates adharma, fear and insecurity in you. And you will find yourself dancing with joy and happiness to Krishna’s melodious music coming out of the flute…Remember, the flute is the only no-cost instrument that can produce music – means, it is accessible to the poorest man in the earth.”

“I didn’t know this much details, Uday…” uncle said.

“Do you believe that Krishna was a real character?” Mahesh asked.

“Yes, Krishna was enlightened being, an avatar of Vishnu. There are a lot of exaggerated stories, myths, and legends about Krishna. But, if you read the Mahabharata, Harivamsa, Bhagavata Purana and Vishnu Purana and analyze yourself without any prejudice, you will know who Krishna was. Krishna was mentioned in thousands of contemporary scriptures and literatures. Even in Ramayana, which was written thousands of years before Krishna’s birth, Vasistha tells Rama about the future birth of Krishna and Arjuna.”

“Oh, I didn’t know those were historical factors. Can you tell the exact timing of Krishna’s birth?”

“As you know 90% of our scriptures are destroyed by invaders from the Middle East and burned our libraries associated with temples. Krishna took birth at midnight on the Ashtami or the 8th day of the Krishnapaksha or dark fortnight in the Hindu month of Shravan (now August-September). This auspicious day is called Janmashtami. Scholars say Krishna lived on earth during 3200 -3100 BCE. There was no unified Calendar system in India during puranic times. Hence there are two possible dates – July 27, 3112 BCE and 19 July 3228 BCE based on scriptural details and astronomical calculations.

“This is interesting Uday… If those Pravachakas talk sensibly like you, even atheists will listen. But they are teaching Puranas as soap opera or as an idiotic TV serial story with an overload of sentimental emotions. They kill the essence of Puranas and convert you to superstitious and blind believers. They spread superstitions and blind beliefs…it is not properly taught…”Mahesh’s father said. Mahesh also nodded his head: “Yeah, nice to listen.

“Mahesh, Puranas are for the people who dare to think beyond. Otherwise, you will see only irrational stories there. The authors were great sages. You cannot approach Puranas with your conditioned mind or as a brain-washed zombie. The egoistic mind always wants to criticize rather than admitting, “I don’t understand”. Unfortunately, we don’t realize this mind game. Purana stories are about killing ego or conditioned the mind and moving towards awareness. For those fancy dressed long-bearded jerks are concerned, this is a just trade to make money. They are not aware, hence try selling superstitions, blind beliefs, fear of god etc. for their very livelihood or amass wealth. But you cannot generalize. Still, there are very good people who can provide real insights to Puranas.”

Krishna has a universal appeal. No external sadhanas will take you to Krishna. A true meditation or self-enquiry will get you connected to the navel of the source which in turn will provide you the answer to all your queries. It is not confined to believers of a religion or a sect. Krishna is inclusive and pure love.

Magnesium Deficiency Symptoms and Diagnosis

Magnesium deficiency is often misdiagnosed because it does not show up in blood tests – only 1% of the body’s magnesium is stored in the blood.

Most doctors and laboratories don’t even include magnesium status in routine blood tests. Thus, most doctors don’t know when their patients are deficient in magnesium, even though studies show that the majority of persons are deficient in magnesium. Consider Dr. Norman Shealy’s statements, “Every known illness is associated with a magnesium deficiency” and that, “magnesium is the most critical mineral required for electrical stability of every cell in the body. A magnesium deficiency may be responsible for more diseases than any other nutrient.” The truth he states exposes a gaping hole in modern medicine that explains a good deal about iatrogenic death and disease. Because magnesium deficiency is largely overlooked, millions of Americans suffer needlessly or are having their symptoms treated with expensive drugs when they could be cured with magnesium supplementation.

One has to recognize the signs of magnesium thirst or hunger on their own since allopathic medicine is lost in this regard. It is really something much more subtle then hunger or thirst but it is comparable. In a world though where doctors and patients alike do not even pay attention to thirst and important issues of hydration it is not hopeful that we will find many recognizing and pay attention to magnesium thirst and hunger which is a dramatic way of expressing the concept of magnesium deficiency.

Few people are aware of the enormous role magnesium plays in our bodies. Magnesium is by far the most important mineral in the body, After oxygen, water, and basic food, magnesium may be the most important element needed by our bodies, vitally important yet hardly known. It is more important than calcium, potassium or sodium and regulates all three of them. Millions suffer daily from magnesium deficiency without even knowing it

In fact, there happens to be a relationship between what we perceive as thirst and deficiencies in electrolytes. I remember a person asking, “Why am I dehydrated and thirsty when I drink so much water?” Thirst can mean not only lack of water but it can also mean that one is not getting enough nutrients and electrolytes. Magnesium, Potassium, Bicarbonate, Chloride and Sodium are some principle examples and that is one of the reasons magnesium chloride is so useful.

You know all those years when doctors used to tell their patients its all in your heads were years the medical profession was showing its ignorance. It is a torment to be magnesium deficient on one level or another. Even if it’s for the enthusiastic sports person whose athletic performance is down magnesium deficiency will disturb sleep and background stress levels and a host of other things that reflect on the quality of life. Doctors have not been using the appropriate test for magnesium – their serum blood tests just distort their perceptions. Magnesium has been off their radar screens through the decades that magnesium deficiencies have snowballed.

Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency

The first symptoms of deficiency can be subtle – as most magnesium is stored in the tissues, leg cramps, foot pain, or muscle ‘twitches’ can be the first sign. Other early signs of deficiency include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and weakness. As magnesium deficiency worsens, numbness, tingling, seizures, personality changes, abnormal heart rhythms, and coronary spasms can occur.

A full outline of magnesium deficiency was beautifully presented in a recent article by Dr. Sidney Baker. “Magnesium deficiency can affect virtually every organ system of the body. With regard to skeletal muscle, one may experience twitches, cramps, muscle tension, muscle soreness, including back aches, neck pain, tension headaches, and jaw joint (or TMJ) dysfunction. Also, one may experience chest tightness or a peculiar sensation that he can’t take a deep breath. Sometimes a person may sigh a lot.”

“Symptoms involving impaired contraction of smooth muscles include constipation; urinary spasms; menstrual cramps; difficulty swallowing or a lump in the throat-especially provoked by eating sugar; photophobia, especially difficulty adjusting to oncoming bright headlights in the absence of eye disease; and loud noise sensitivity from stapedius muscle tension in the ear.”

“Other symptoms and signs of magnesium deficiency and discuss laboratory testing for this common condition. Continuing with the symptoms of magnesium deficiency, the central nervous system is markedly affected. Symptoms include insomnia, anxiety, hyperactivity and restlessness with constant movement, panic attacks, agoraphobia, and premenstrual irritability. Magnesium deficiency symptoms involving the peripheral nervous system include numbness, tingling, and other abnormal sensations, such as zips, zaps, and vibratory sensations.”

“Symptoms or signs of the cardiovascular system include palpitations, heart arrhythmias, and angina due to spasms of the coronary arteries, high blood pressure, and mitral valve prolapse. Be aware that not all of the symptoms need to be present to presume magnesium deficiency; but, many of them often occur together. For example, people with mitral valve prolapse frequently have palpitations, anxiety, panic attacks and premenstrual symptoms. People with magnesium deficiency often seem to be “uptight.” Other general symptoms include a salt craving, both carbohydrate craving, and carbohydrate intolerance, especially of chocolate, and breast tenderness.”

Magnesium is needed by every cell in the body including those of the brain and is one of the most important minerals when considering supplementation because of its vital role in hundreds of enzyme systems and functions related to reactions in cell metabolism, as well as being essential for the synthesis of proteins, for the utilization of fats and carbohydrates. Magnesium is needed not only for the production of specific detoxification enzymes but is also important for energy production related to cell detoxification. A magnesium deficiency can affect virtually every system of the body.

One of the principle reason doctors write millions of prescriptions for tranquilizers each year is the nervousness, irritability, and jitters largely brought on by inadequate diets lacking magnesium. Persons only slightly deficient in magnesium become irritable, highly-strung, and sensitive to noise, hyper-excitable, apprehensive and belligerent. If the deficiency is more severe or prolonged, they may develop twitching, tremors, irregular pulse, insomnia, muscle weakness, jerkiness and leg and foot cramps.

If magnesium is severely deficient, the brain is particularly affected. Clouded thinking, confusion, disorientation, marked depression and even the terrifying hallucinations of delirium tremens are largely brought on by a lack of this nutrient and remedied when magnesium is given. Because large amounts of calcium are lost in the urine when magnesium is undersupplied, the lack of this nutrient indirectly becomes responsible for much rampant tooth decay, poor bone development, osteoporosis and slow healing of broken bones and fractures. With vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), magnesium helps to reduce and dissolve calcium phosphate kidney stones.

Magnesium deficiency may be a common factor associated with insulin resistance. Symptoms of MS that are also symptoms of magnesium deficiency include muscle spasms, weakness, twitching, muscle atrophy,  an inability to control the bladder, nystagmus (rapid eye movements), hearing loss, and osteoporosis.  People with MS have higher rates of epilepsy than controls.  Epilepsy has also been linked to magnesium deficiencies.

Another good list of early warning symptoms is:

Suggestive early warning signs of magnesium insufficiency:
Physical and mental fatigue
Persistent under-eye twitch
Tension in the upper back, shoulders, and neck
Pre-menstrual fluid retention and/or breast tenderness

Possible manifestations of magnesium deficiency include:
Low energy
Seizures (and tantrums)
Poor digestion
PMS and hormonal imbalances
Inability to sleep
Muscle tension, spasm, and cramps
Calcification of organs
Weakening of the bones
Abnormal heart rhythm

Severe magnesium deficiency can result in low levels of calcium in the blood (hypocalcemia). Magnesium deficiency is also associated with low levels of potassium in the blood (hypokalemia). Magnesium levels drop at night, leading to poor REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep cycles and unrefreshed sleep. Headaches, blurred vision, mouth ulcers, fatigue, and anxiety are also early signs of depletion.

We hear all the time about how heart disease is the number one health crisis in the country, about how high blood pressure is the “silent killer”, and about how ever increasing numbers of our citizens are having their lives and the lives of their families destroyed by diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, and a host of other chronic diseases

Signs of severe magnesium deficiency include:

Extreme thirst
Extreme hunger
Frequent urination
Sores or bruises that heal slowly
Dry, itchy skin
Unexplained weight loss
Blurry vision that changes from day to day
Unusual tiredness or drowsiness
Tingling or numbness in the hands or feet
Frequent or recurring skin, gum, bladder or vaginal yeast infections

But wait a minute, aren’t those the same symptoms for diabetes? Many people have diabetes for about 5 years before they show strong symptoms. By that time, some people already have eye, kidney, gum or nerve damage caused by the deteriorating condition of their cells due to insulin resistance and magnesium deficiency. Dump some mercury and arsenic on the mixture of etiologies and pronto we have the disease condition we call diabetes.

Magnesium deficiency is synonymous with diabetes
and is at the root of many if not all cardiovascular problems.

Magnesium deficiency is synonymous with diabetes and is at the root of many if not all cardiovascular problems.

Magnesium deficiency is a predictor of diabetes and heart disease both; diabetics both need more magnesium and lose more magnesium than most people. In two new studies, in both men and women, those who consumed the most magnesium in their diet were least likely to develop type 2 diabetes, according to a report in the January 2006 issue of the journal Diabetes Care. Until now, very few large studies have directly examined the long-term effects of dietary magnesium on diabetes. Dr. Simin Liu of the Harvard Medical School and School of Public Health in Boston says, “Our studies provided some direct evidence that greater intake of dietary magnesium may have a long-term protective effect on lowering risk,” said Liu, who was involved in both studies.

The thirst of diabetes is part of the body’s response to excessive urination. The excessive urination is the body’s attempt to get rid of the extra glucose in the blood. This excessive urination causes the increased thirst. But we have to look at what is causing this level of disharmony. We have to probe deeper into layers of the cause. The body needs to dump glucose because of increasing insulin resistance and that resistance is being fueled directly by magnesium deficiency, which makes toxic insults more damaging to the tissues at the same time.

When diabetics get too high blood sugars, the body creates “ketones” as a by-product of breaking down fats. These ketones cause blood acidity which causes “acidosis” of the blood, leading to Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), This is a very dangerous condition that can lead to coma and death. It is also called “diabetic acidosis”, “ketosis”, “ketoacidosis” or “diabetic coma”. DKA is a common way for new Type 1 diabetics to be diagnosed. If they fail to seek medical advice on symptoms like urination, which is driving thirst they can die of DKA.

Oral magnesium supplements reduce erythrocyte dehydration. In general optimal balances of electrolytes are necessary to maintain the best possible hydration. Diabetic thirst is initiated specifically by magnesium deficiency with relative calcium excess in the cells. Even water, our most basic nutrient starts having a hard time getting into the cells with more going out through the kidneys.

Autism and Magnesium Deficiency

When dealing with autism spectrum and other neurological disorders in children it is important to know the signs of low magnesium: restless, can’t keep still, body rocking, grinding teeth, hiccups, noise sensitive, poor attention span, poor concentration, irritable, aggressive, ready to explode, easily stressed. When it comes to children today we need to assume a large magnesium deficiency for several reasons.

  1. The foods they are eating are stripped of magnesium because foods in general, as we shall see below are declining in mineral content in an alarming way.
  2. The foods many children eat are highly processed junk foods that do not provide real nutrition to the body.
  3. Because most children on the spectrum are not absorbing the minerals they need even when present in the gut. Magnesium absorption is dependent on intestinal health, which is compromised totally in leaky gut syndromes and other intestinal problems that the majority of autism syndrome disorders.
  4. Because the oral supplements doctors rely on are not easily absorbed because they are not in the right form and because magnesium, in general, is not administered easily orally.

Modern medicine is supposed to help people not hurt them but with their almost total ignorance of magnesium doctors end up hurting more than they help for many of the medical interventions drive down magnesium levels when they should be driving them up. Many if not most pharmaceutical drugs drive magnesium levels into very dangerous zones and surgery was done without increasing magnesium levels is much more dangerous then surgery done with.

The foundation of medical arrogance is actually medical ignorance and the only reason ignorance and arrogance rule the playing field of medicine is a greed lust for power and money. Human nature seems to be at its worst in modern medicine when it should be at its best. It is sad that people have to suffer needlessly and extraordinarily tragic that allopathic medicine has turned its back on the Hippocratic Oath and all that it means.

Article from a post by Dr. Sircus on December 8, 2009

CARAM is opening shortly an Alternative Health Care Centre at Paradip Port, Odisha where one get treatment for all acute and chronic diseases through the systems like Sujok, Acupuncture, Foot Reflexology, Bach Remedies and Tissue Salts.
